Charities & groups we support

Home About Charities & groups we support

We are committed to supporting our local community, through sponsorship of local events, taking part in challenges for charity and supporting fundraising events.

We bi-annually hold a Charity Challenge event for local professional firms to compete against each other in an evening of fun sporting challenges. Fiducia has sponsored the Dedham 10K Run in aid of the local primary school for several years and this forms a core part of our community action and spirit. We also support the national Christmas Jumper Day in December for Save the Children and have held Coffee Mornings for Macmillan Cancer Care. In recent years we have played a larger role in the Colchester community as sponsors of the Colchester Carnival, Colchester Schools Prom and the Colchester Half Marathon.

For 2021, we have chosen to partner with the Citizens Advice Colchester (CAC). CAC was founded in 1939 to help the people of Colchester and its surrounding area cope with the challenges of war but today helps thousands of people cope with all manner of financial hardships, working at the very heart of our local community.

Announcing this partnership, Managing Director Gordon Kearney says:

“There are several reasons why we have chosen Citizens Advice Colchester (CAC) as our Charity of the Year. Their tireless work to support those affected by financial hardship is one of them. As financial advisers, financial freedom remains the goal we seek for all our clients regardless of financial status and for this reason our chosen charity this year – amidst the pandemic – is as poignant and relevant as it is close to our values.”

CAC’s Registered Charity Number is 1097252

Fiducia is also a proud sponsor of a race mark in West Mersea in support of the West Mersea Yacht Club and the West Mersea Town Regatta programme for 2021.

We are incredibly excited and proud to announce that Fiducia will be sponsoring the newly launched Colchester Rugby Football Club, where we shall be supporting the First XV team and hosting a range of professional and social events throughout the next year. We look forward to sharing our partnership news and supporting this local organisation.

Colchester Centurion Race Series

We are really pleased to announce our sponsorship of the Senior 3/4 series in the first of its kind British Cycling Event – the Colchester Centurion Autumn Race Series. The series is a fantastic opportunity for keen cyclists of all ages from 8 years old to participate in competitive races at a brand new facility – Colchester Northern Gateway Sports Park.

Dedham Juniors FC

We are proud to be a sponsor of our local grassroots football club – Dedham FC. Anyone involved with grassroots football will know the costs involved in running a club. As a club sponsor we support the junior teams playing a sport they enjoy.
