Income Protection Cover
There are a fair few things in life which catch us off guard and derail our plans. Making plans for the unexpected is something we can do and is a core value of any good financial planner. Our job as financial advisers and financial planners is to prepare our clients, as much as possible, for the unexpected.
Financial protection is often an uncomfortable topic We all assume that we will live long into our twilight years, but at the same time we all know that things don’t always go to plan. Indeed, Covid19 and it’s global, multi-level impact across lives and livelihoods is one of those black swan events none of us could have anticipated let alone prepared for.
Financial freedom requires being prepared for when things go wrong. In order to safeguard against these scenarios it may be recommended that clients consider income protection.
“It’s always surprised me how we think nothing of insuring our cars, pets, mobile phones and homes but our income and life can wait. Financial protection is an important area of financial planning that I feel very passionate about.” – Michael Macleod, Financial Planner
