There are many things that make Fiducia a little bit different, such as our beautiful location in the heart of the Dedham Vale countryside, but it’s the value of our dedicated team that makes the Fiducia family so special.

This week, we take time out with Sebastian Eaton:

When did you join the Fiducia team and in what role?

I joined in June 2018 as a Senior Paraplanner

How does continued professional development (CPD) help you in your role or career journey?

It’s very important in my role. Particularly given the variety of clients we deal with. You need a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge in all areas of financial planning.

What’s your first task of the day?

Well, at the moment, it’s to clean my desk with anti-bac wipes! As you know, I am not a tea/coffee person so at the start of the day it’s pretty simple – check emails, check tasks in my ‘queue’ and get to work

Which part of your job do you most enjoy, and which area is the most challenging?

I really enjoy writing, which is a good thing as it’s a big part of the job! Most challenging is managing the priorities of the different advisers we have here.

What do you most look forward to at the end of the week?

It’s just good to get home and be with family. I do some cricket coaching at my son’s club at the weekend which is great. Otherwise I’d say, eat, drink, run, gym etc.

Marks out of ten for your work/life balance?

Hmm, 8.5/10

Three words to describe the Fiducia family….

Fit, friendly, focused!
