A North Essex based financial planning firm has received regional recognition from City fund analyst and rating agency Citywire.
Fiducia Wealth Management, based at Dedham, near Colchester, has received the New Model Adviser Award 2009 for the East of England – one of eight regional awards made by Citywire covering England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The New Model Adviser Awards recognise a commitment to the highest professional qualifications, the implementation of state-of-the-art technology and the development of an independent investment management service, which is fee based.
Fiducia managing director, John Millican, who founded the business in 2003, said “This award is a tremendous achievement for Fiducia. I am delighted because it recognises the professionalism and dedication of our entire team to provide a personal service of the highest quality. That team includes four graduates, three holders of the Investment Management Certificate and a Chartered Financial Planner. Professional financial advice has never been so important as it is today, when we are in the midst of an economic recession. More than ever there is a need to focus on long-term goals and professional advice that is independent and can be trusted.”
Fiducia provides a “holistic” financial planning service linked to its investment management expertise. It works closely with a network of private banks, tax strategists, trustees, fiduciaries, lawyers, accountants and property specialists in order to provide comprehensive and independent wealth management.
