Developments in Dedham

I write this as the East of England continues to bask in some glorious weather.

In keeping with the rest of the region, the landscape around our lovely offices in the heart of Dedham is rather brown at present, but here’s hoping for some more great sunshine over the summer holidays.

We were certainly fortunate to host our annual Fiducia Charity Challenge on a lovely warm early summer’s evening in June.

The event, which was in support of Essex Community Foundation and Suffolk Community Foundation, saw teams of corporate partners do battle in sporting challenges and fun and games including the spaghetti tower and space hopper relay.

It was a chance to unwind and have fun for some very worthwhile causes. I am delighted to say that we raised £2,000 from the event. A big congratulations most also go to our winners from Ensors.

We are delighted to announce that we have been Highly Commended in the industry-renowned Money Marketing Awards.

Fiducia achieved the recognition in the Best Investment Adviser category while also being shortlisted in the Best Retirement Adviser and Small Adviser of the Year categories.

We also have some great staff news to share.

Angela Warner and Sebastian Eaton have joined Fiducia as Client Services Administrator and Senior Paraplanner respectively and we welcome them both to our close-knit team.

Our commitment to personal staff development is always a priority and we say well done to Laura King for passing her RO1 exam. This is the first of six exams needed to achieve the Diploma in Financial Planning.

Finally, we offer a very warm Fiducia congratulations to Heather Ward and her husband Chris who have announced that they are expecting their first child.
