Developments in Dedham: Autumn 2026
It’s been a busy few months here at Fiducia, with plenty to celebrate both in the office and out in the local community.
We’ve welcomed new arrivals, celebrated professional achievements and national recognition, and enjoyed raising money for charity with a little friendly competition.
Here’s a round-up of what’s been going on here in Dedham.
Welcome back, Loren!
We’re delighted to welcome Loren back to Fiducia following her maternity leave and the arrival of beautiful baby Isla, who weighed an impressive 9lb 2oz at birth!
It’s lovely to have Loren back with the team, and we wish her and her family all the very best.
Lewis continues his professional development
Congratulations to Lewis, who successfully passed his CII J02 (Trusts) examination earlier this year, marking another step forward in his professional development.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Lewis has also recently sat the advanced AF1 (Personal Tax and Trust Planning) examination and is eagerly awaiting his results.
Fingers crossed for another success!
A special honour for Gordon!
We’re delighted to share that our managing director, Gordon Kearney, has been awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship – one of Rotary International’s highest honours.
From fundraising events to supporting local charities and community initiatives, Gordon has long been passionate about making a positive difference. The award recognises Gordon’s longstanding dedication to supporting the local community through Fiducia, something that has always been close to his heart.
It’s a lovely recognition of his efforts and something the whole Fiducia team is incredibly proud of. Congratulations, Gordon!

Fiducia named among the UK’s top 50 boutique financial advice firms
We’re incredibly proud to announce that Fiducia has been recognised by FTAdviser as one of the UK’s top 50 boutique financial advice firms.
It’s a fantastic achievement for our team and recognition of the hard work, dedication, and personal service that go into looking after our clients.
Susie Laws, director and Chartered Financial Planner at Fiducia, commented:
“We’re absolutely delighted to receive this recognition. We’ve always believed that great financial planning is about people, not just numbers. As an independent firm, we take enormous pride in the relationships we build with our clients and the personal service we provide. To be recognised among the very best boutique firms in the country is a wonderful achievement and a real testament to our fantastic team.”
A huge thank you to our colleagues and, of course, our clients for their continued trust and support.

Fun, games, and fundraising at Fiducia’s Charity Challenge!
At the end of the summer, we hosted our annual Charity Challenge here in Dedham, welcoming friends and fellow professionals from the accountancy and legal professions for an afternoon of friendly competition and fundraising.
Teams battled it out in a series of traditional sports day challenges, including the ever-popular space hopper relay, with plenty of laughter and some questionable sporting prowess along the way!
The sun shone, spirits were high and, as always, Gordon was on barbecue duty, doing his best not to burn the sausages!
Most importantly, the event raised a fantastic £2,030 for charity.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success.
A smashing success at our inaugural padel tournament!
In October, Fiducia teamed up with local accountants Lambert Chapman to host our very first charity padel tournament, bringing together friends and fellow professionals for some friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and two very worthy causes.
The event was a fantastic success, raising £1,125, with proceeds shared equally between St Helena Hospice and Prostate Cancer UK.
A special mention goes to Fiducia’s James Crisell, who took the lead in organising the event. Unfortunately, James had to watch from the sidelines as he continues his recovery from an ACL injury sustained while playing football. We’re sure he’d much rather have been on the court!
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make our inaugural tournament such a success. We’re already looking forward to the next one.
Our new website is live!
You may have noticed that Fiducia has a brand-new website. We’ve refreshed its look and feel, making it easier to navigate and find the information you need.
We hope you like it, and we’d love to hear what you think. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please do let us know!
