Michael has amassed 13 years of experience in financial services ranging from retail banking to mortgages and, more recently, obtaining the diploma in regulated financial planning. This level of professionalism has been a long-standing goal of his and a first step in his wider mission to make financial planning and financial advice more accessible to all.
A grassroots approach to financial wellbeing is central to Michael’s belief that small changes can make a big difference; that ignorance is not bliss. To this end, his community outreach involves delivering presentations to schools and seminars to firms and small businesses.
“Financial advice can benefit everyone; it’s not exclusive to those select few with vast sums to invest. My overriding goal is to add value to each client I work with and exceed expectations. From explaining what a pension is, or how an ISA works, right through to complex inheritance tax planning in later life.”
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his two sons, who were born in 2017 and 2019. He loves anything involving strategy, from chess to online card games which he plays at a competitive level. He also enjoys most sports, particularly Formula 1 and football when family life permits.
