Susie Laws named Financial Adviser of the Year for second year running 
We are delighted to announce that Susie Laws, Co-Owner and Chartered Financial Planner at Fiducia Wealth Management, was named Financial Adviser of the Year – Midlands & East Anglia at the 2021 Women in Financial Advice Awards, retaining the award she won in 2020.
The Women in Financial Advice Awards, organised by Professional Adviser, celebrate the achievements of women working across the UK financial advice profession and wider financial services sector. The 2021 awards attracted more than 2,200 individual nominations.
For Susie, being named Financial Adviser of the Year for the Midlands & East Anglia for a second consecutive year marked another significant milestone in her career.
From paraplanner to Chartered Financial Planner and business owner
Susie joined Fiducia having previously worked as a paraplanner and has progressed to become a Chartered Financial Planner, Director and Co-Owner of Fiducia Wealth Management.
Her second award was particularly significant because much had changed since her first win.
Following a management buyout of Fiducia in March 2020, Susie and Managing Director Gordon Kearney became co-owners of the business, taking responsibility for the future development of Fiducia, its team and the service provided to its clients.
Commenting on Susie’s achievement, Gordon said:
