Steve Doe, Angelique Decrem and Sarah Travers all passed Diploma in Financial Planning exams. Sarah has now attained the Diploma and holds the title DipPFS, she will shortly be commencing study towards the Advanced Diploma with a view to attaining Chartered Financial Planner status. Steve and Angelique continue their study towards attaining the Diploma.
After serving on the Board for the last 5 years Sarah has decided to step down due to time pressures resulting from working on a part-time basis. The Board will miss Sarah’s input but fully support her decision.
We have recruited two senior and highly experienced investment advisers. Adrian Pattinson joined at the end of last year as Regional Director for the North West and is based in The Wirral, Cheshire. He is using his existing client and professional connections to introduce the Fiducia brand and service to the North West region, North Wales, Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria, which he has previously covered for Kleinwort Benson Private Bank, Coutts & Co and PKF. The intention is to progressively build our presence and open a regional office.
Simon Whittley joined in April as Director, Private Client Portfolios. Simon has over 15 years experience in wealth management and joins from Collins Stewart where he was responsible for winning and managing new investment mandates using his extensive market knowledge and experience on behalf of private clients, charities and private as well as corporate pension funds. Previously Simon has held similar positions at Credit Suisse Private Bank, Arbuthnot Private Bank and Close Brothers where he focused on discretionary investment accounts for UK based clients.
We have developed a Graduate Program and welcome Jack Rawcliffe as trainee within the Investment Team. Jack has recently graduated from the University of Essex with a First Class Honours Degree in Financial Economics and commenced the Graduate Program at the start of July. Jack will be studying towards the Investment Management Certificate as part of the Graduate Program.
Finally, Jo Millican (John’s youngest daughter) who has been working with the Business Support Team will be leaving at the end of August to pursue a career in the legal profession. We wish Jo every success.
